Hope Connected Counseling & Consulting, P.L.L.C., is founded on the philosophy of healing through hope and connection. Whether you’re looking to address a specific challenge, here to process or gain understanding of your innermost thoughts, to improve your quality of life, or to explore emotions for increased self-awareness, doing so requires a connection built on trust. I believe that this process of building trust requires a mutual willingness to show up as you are; to be approached with care, empathy, and from a place of curiosity; to authentically experience acceptance and understanding with humility; and to be met with consistency and hope for the present and the future. My background and approach

With over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, I’ve worked with people across the lifespan in a variety of different settings including inpatient, outpatient, community-based and residential. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, valuing an individualized process that honors one’s strengths, abilities, and resilience. Theoretical approaches and interventions align with concepts of relational therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), self-determination, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and harm reduction.
