Out of network
Payment in full is due at the time of service. I do not bill directly to insurance, but can provide you with a Superbill if you plan to submit for reimbursement under your out of network (OON) benefits. If you plan to do so, it is your responsibility to check with your insurance carrier directly for any OON coverage and to understand the process for reimbursement, before initiating services.
FEES
Individual Intake Appointment (up to 60 mins) = $200
Individual Session (31 to 50 mins) = $170
Individual Session (up to 30 mins) = $90
Family Session (45-50 mins) = $190
Substance Use Evaluation (90-180 minutes + write up within 7-10 days from complete data collection) = $600
Missed or Late-Cancel = A $75 fee is charged for all missed appointments, or those cancelled within less than 24 hours of the appointment.
Payment for therapy services can be made directly through the Simple Practice client portal once scheduled and registered. All major credit cards are accepted. Keep in mind, therapy is generally a service eligible for reimbursement through Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

good faith estimate
Consumers have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate which protects against surprise medical billing, including for psychotherapy. Fees for services are listed above and can be used to anticipate charges.
If you are billed for services more than $400 over the anticipated charges, you have the right to initiate a dispute resolution process. Please note that good faith estimates do not account for missed or late cancellation fees (as listed above), crisis sessions, case management fees, court litigation fees, or other financial arrangements discussed and determined on a case-by-case basis.
